Fruit Scape
This series of illustrations is a playful way of expressing my love for fruit and the emotions associated with it.
The different shapes, tastes and colours of fruit have always fascinated me. In addition, I associate certain fruits with childhood memories, like the strawberry. It reminds me of when I was a child, climbing through the bushes in our garden in search of the wild strawberries that grew well hidden on the ground. With my fingers covered in red and a big smile on my face, I proudly presented my find to my family and we enjoyed the strawberries together.
